Luckily for Ms. Timken, her teachers were focused on preparing Jeannie (and her classmates) for an unknown future. In 2017, reports and posts about a changing job market, and the skills necessary to prepare students to become part of an innovative workforce, were plentiful.

Teachers were past the fear that they would all be replaced by robots and committed to empowering the learners in their charge with the skills they would need to be successful in an ever changing world. In fact, in 2037, they are called Curiosity Tutors!
