I love learning and sharing with other educators from around the country and, indeed, the world. This is the spot where I house many of the presentations that I do for conferences, school districts and professional associations.
I was never a big fan of canned curricula when I was in the classroom and I'm similarly nonplussed by it now, which means that I happily customize each of the sessions on this list to meet the needs of your teachers, librarians, administrators, etc. Still, while this is only a partial list, it will give you an idea of the kind of work I love to do with the educators who invite me to be a part of their learning.
How To Navigate This Site:
My latest keynotes, pre-conference and concurrent sessions can be found under the Conference Presentations tab at the top of this page.
Workshops created for school districts (or other entities), can be found under the Professional Development tab.
If you are interested in having me speak or conduct professional development for your school, organization or group, please contact me at jennifer [at] librarygirl [dot] net. That said, I weigh each and every incredibly humbling request carefully and if I am unable to accept, I will gladly recommend someone else who I think might be able to meet your needs.
It is my strong belief that being a great teacher requires being a great learner. And it is an absolute thrill and an honor to be a part of your journey.
Let's get started!
